Do American Students have it easier?

Do American students really have it better than International Students? With american students having nearly a three month break/Holiday during the summer around the US. And only having roughly three hours of homework during the first few years in high school(Not including Projects assigned). What do International

Students thinking about the school system in America and the American School Life? We can only find out one way and that is by asking them.

With students from around the world we able to get answers to questions that needed to be answered. With students from China, Turkey, Indonesia, Croatia, Egypt, Saudi Arabi and most Importantly America. Every person who was asked any questions gave their name and what grade they are in as well as there age if and when asked. Arwa, Sophomore in College, when asked how long it takes her to finish her homework this is what she said "it takes a bit of class time to complete it." She was also asked on how many classes she has daily "I have 2 to 3 lectures that last 2 hours."

With a vary of students answering my questions with a different responses. With Another Student From China, Senior, Zia, said “I usually have 8 classes daily.” Which most American High Schoolers have at most 7, “I usually do my work in between classes with my classmates and in classes we choice to do out homework instead.” The time it takes ms.Zia after school to finish classwork is unclear. If an American Student where to do that in any class that a teacher doesn’t permit it the work would taken awake and be given back at the end of the class period or the end of the day.

I got a lot of interviews from my peers in China which just ended in me get a lot of the same answers about how much class work they all get. As well as how long it takes them to complete their class work in one day. Some students like Shannon are in a board school and study all the time at school. She has 6 days of class allowing her to leave Saturday Afternoon and return Sunday Afternoon. Half of her time like a lot of other students is spent studying.

The amount of classes that they all had including other American students like myself was anywhere from 5 to 8 classes daily. With classes starting by 7:25am at the earliest and ending at 6pm. I have not only realized while getting information for this article that American Students do have it better than some places around the world. With having longer breaks than some seniors less homework but a worse school system.

American Students do have it easier than most countries around the world. If students in America were given a 15 day break/holiday for summer there would be riots. I have it easier but in the school system it is horrible and if you have special talent they try to ignore it and put you in classes that you don't belong in because you have a special talent with math or art. American students please give props to international students everywhere.
